Drake’s Restaurants

Drake’s is a neighborhood restaurant and bar with an unconventional spirit. Serving Burgers, Beer, & Sushi. As the sole graphic designer and photographer for Drake’s, the largest concept within Bluegrass Hospitality Group (29 locations and growing), I lead all visual direction across brand, print, digital, and environmental design. I’ve contributed to 8 successful store openings, fully redesigned the brand’s 15-year-old menu system, and developed high-performing seasonal campaigns—including a holiday gift card push that resulted in a 43.6% increase in sales.

In addition to design, I handle all in-house food and lifestyle photography, creating cohesive brand visuals for marketing, social, and promotional use. I also create basic motion graphics and animated assets using After Effects, adding visual energy and engagement to digital campaigns and the in-store environment.

I regularly collaborate across departments and occasionally support broader BHG initiatives, contributing creative strategy and execution for company-wide projects.
